* ArPTA Distinguished Service Award *
* Clinical Instructor of the Year Award *
* ArPTA Friends of the Chapter Award *
* Physical Therapist Assistant of the Year Award *
* Greg Wren Legislative Award *
NOTE:  Greg Wren Legislative Award is typically only awarded after an AR legislative session.

Criteria for Each Award

ArPTA Distinguished Service Award - distinguished contributions to the profession of PT in Arkansas in areas of public awareness, administration, education, patient care, or research by a PT; active in the APTA at the state or national level; must have worked as a PT or PTA in Arkansas for the previous 3 years.  

Clinical Instructor of the Year Award - outstanding teaching behavior, skills, promotion of professionalism in the clinical setting; must have worked as a PT or PTA in Arkansas for the previous 3 years.   Only students may nominate.  Forms can be obtained from your ACCE.

Greg Wren Legislative Award - exceptional contributions in the legislative arena; must have worked as a PT or PTA in Arkansas for the previous 3 years.  NOTE:  Greg Wren Legislative Award is typically only awarded after a legislative session; AR Legislature is in session every other year.

ArPTA Friends of the Chapter Award - a non PT/PTA contributor to the chapter in the area of Chapter meeting support, educational programming, public awareness, legislative issues or administration.

Physical Therapist Assistant of the Year Award - exceptional contributions and participation on a state and/or national level, public awareness, education, research, or publications by a PTA; must have worked as a PTA in Arkansas for the previous 3 years.
